The T8641 PoE over Coax Base Unit from Axis Communications is a single-channel solution that allows legacy coax cabling to be used when converting an analog system to IP. This base unit receives PoE power and transmits it via coax. A compact unit (available separately) receives power via coax and delivers PoE to a network device.
This device delivers a transmission distance up to 1600'. Thanks to plug-and-play installation, operation is kept simple. LED indicators give confirmation of network and power status.
